MONOLOGUES INSPIRED BY TRUE EVENTS
ABOUT THIS PROJECT AND COMMUNITY
We are WOW-EFFECT. Nijmegen’s international, multicultural, amateur, non-profit, passionate for theatre community. We have written 13 monologues while in social isolation, and we are happy to share them with you, even though not in live performances.
Virus Crossed is based on true events that take place during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 4 parts and with 13 monologues of various styles and lengths, we invite you to not only take a second look at your past and present, but also question how the future should be.
Will you help us keep our community alive?
Renting rehearsal locations and the stage, preparing our decor, costumes, makeup, renting cameras and microphones, marketing our activities… We are only able to transform our creative ideas to reality by your generous contributions. So, please consider making a donation here to support us. Thank you!
An amazing performance.. Congratulations.. Honestly, there were moments I laughed out loud or teared up a bit.
I enjoyed watching WOW-EFFECT’s first two parts of Virus Crossed so far.
The intensity of the actors and the relatable-ness of the situations made me take several breaks.
Fantastic job everyone, just finished watching Part 1, really powerful monologues, loved the bookended greetings between each one getting more and more despondent. Excellent stuff!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
We couldn’t have realized Virus Crossed without the marvelous efforts of our cast, crew, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Lots of love to all of them credited below or in the videos <3
