We live in a strange world. When we talk about internet dating, things get even weirder. As we try to navigate the fast love economy to find meaningful connections, technology spits out characters with all kinds of flavors, flaws, and dreams our way. Don’t we also end up facing our own flaws in the meantime? And is it possible to help each other become not only more self aware but also self accepting so that we get closer to being our true selves? Or, are we doomed to end up with a bigger baggage after each attempt?
With her brutally honest stereotypes, Stacey Lents’ tragicomic play may hit too close to home at times that you’ll Laugh Out Loud (and cry quietly). Under the direction of WOW-EFFECT’s Sylvia Hoppenbrouwers and Tjitse Wolf, it receives a particular twist. So, if you like dark humor, you are in for a treat.
